In the frame of the program of WAS Biennale, Mia Gourvitch presents Layover Dreams an exhibition that revolves around the notion of time and memories. Gourvitch’s series of works has been created at the hotel which is currently closed and currently hosts the installation and exhibition for WAS Biennale 2016, Berlin. The photographs, realised about two years after the last guest left, are revealing the vivid representation of a suspended moment in time..after the employees and the temporary residents moved on, what is left are the dreams of this stopover….
